Living independently with a disability can seem like an intimidating possibility, but it doesn’t have to be! We work to assist persons with disabilities in developing the necessary skills to take control of their lives.
Learn how to live independently
We offer a variety of Independent Life Skills classes throughout the year. Our classes allow our staff and consumers to share experiences – struggles and triumphs, all while having a great time!
Our classes are taught by highly qualified persons with disabilities and offer support and encouragement to our consumers. Independent Living Advocates teach consumers how to manage daily tasks promoting household management, personal health management, personal financial planning, and accessing community support systems.
